Love In Care was founded with a deep understanding of and personal connection to dementia. Aqila Choudhry’s own experience of caring for her mother, who had dementia, has been the driving force behind our organisation. Aqila’s journey has empowered her to impart her knowledge and skills to all Love In Care support workers, enabling them to provide exceptional care at any stage of a customer’s dementia journey.
At Love In Care, we take a proactive approach to training and development, ensuring our team is equipped to meet the unique needs of individuals with dementia. We continuously invest in the education and growth of our support workers, enabling them to provide compassionate and informed support.
We understand that dementia is a complex condition that requires specialised care. Through our commitment to training and development, we ensure that our team possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the highest level of care and support for individuals living with dementia. Our support workers provide daily living assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders, all while preserving their dignity.
Safety is paramount in our care approach. We implement measures to prevent accidents and maintain a secure living environment. Our support workers are trained to manage wandering behaviours and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals with dementia.
We value family involvement and understand the importance of open communication and collaboration. We provide regular updates and support to families, working together to create a holistic and personalised care plan for their loved ones.
Our experience and dedication enable us to adapt our services to meet the evolving needs of individuals with dementia. Whether it’s providing memory support, implementing strategies for communication and engagement, or creating a safe and comforting environment, Love In Care is here to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
