Our one-to-one support is inclusive and tailored to individuals of all ages, abilities, and support needs. We pair a regular support worker with anyone requiring assistance due to learning difficulties or disabilities, mental health concerns, Depression, Autism, Asperger’s, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, sensory and physical impairments, gender identity support needs, feelings of isolation, and any other support and development needs.

Our support services are flexible and can be provided in various settings, including but not limited to homes, colleges, places of social and leisure activities, volunteering opportunities, and supported work placements. We are dedicated to meeting individuals wherever they may require support, ensuring they can actively participate in their chosen environments while receiving the assistance they need.

Love My Plan: Empowering Customer-Driven Care

At Love In Care, we believe in prioritising the customer’s care plan and ensuring their priorities are met. To facilitate this, we have implemented our innovative “Love My Plan” planning board. With Love My Plan, the customer remains in control throughout the process, actively expressing their feelings, desires, and preferences.

The planning board consists of three choices represented by emoticons: a happy face 😊, a neutral face 😐, and a sad face 😔. This system enables us to gauge the customer’s starting point and align our support approach accordingly. By continuously monitoring and reviewing the board, we can assess the effectiveness of the support provided, ensuring that it brings happiness and contributes to the achievement of the customer’s goals.

Love My Plan empowers the customer by actively involving them in decision-making, allowing them to express how they feel and what they want to do. This person-centred approach ensures that the support provided is personalised, meaningful, and truly reflective of the customer’s desires and aspirations.

At Love In Care, we are committed to using Love My Plan as a valuable tool to enhance the customer’s experience, monitor progress, and consistently work towards their happiness and goal attainment.

Developing life skills such as learning about safety in the home/on the road/in relationships/in public spaces.

Inclusion into communities at events, volunteering and work placements.

Managing health and wellbeing by learning about foods and drinks and their effects, basic food preparations, attending social and leisure groups and activities.

Our support methods enable the customer to follow a learning option to achieve accreditation for Entry Level, Level 1 and above. There is no extra cost for this option, it’s all part of our person-centred support commitment.
